Hazel Mae Quillen's Obituary
Hazel Mae Quillen of Federalsburg passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at Caroline Nursing Home in Denton, Maryland. She was 99.
She was born on February 3, 1924 near Federalsburg, Maryland, the daughter of the late Gilbert Ernest Collins and Eva Mae Smith Collins.
She was married to Clayland "Goody" John Quillen. He preceded her in death March 6, 1992. She was a homemaker. She was a former member of Williamsburg United Methodist Church. She enjoyed birdwatching and spending time with her family.
She is survived by a daughter Elaine Cowgill and her husband Palmer of Federalsburg.
In addition to her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by a son Ernest Quillen and daughter-in-law Barbara Hubbard Quillen.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 11:00 at Hill Crest Cemetery in Federalsburg.
