Helyn R. Jefferys' Obituary
Helyn R. Jefferys (Lynn) passed away peacefully on Saturday October 27, she was 96 years old. She leaves behind four children, Robert, Janet, David and John, six grandchildren, Duggan, Meredith, Isaac, Wyeth, Michael and Anna, and two great grandchildren, William and Rowan.
Lynn was born on September 26, 1922, and grew up in Jackson Heights NY. She lived most of her life in Connecticut where she raised her family. She moved to St. Michaels in 1988.
Lynn was a loving mother whose lifelong passion was reading. After her husband Bob’s death in 2004, she developed an interest in travel and explored many corners of the earth. She was known as an active and social woman who never resisted telling tales of her incredible life. She will be missed by all who knew her. We love you mom.
A prayer service will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 12 noon at Framptom Funeral Home in St. Michaels, 312 S. Talbot Street, St. Michaels, MD, and visitation will be held from 10 a.m. - 12 noon. Interment will be private.
Memorial donations may be made to the Talbot County Free Library, 106 Fremont St., St. Michaels, MD 21663.
