Hank will be greatly missed by all his neighbors on Villa Rd. Having moved there about thirteen years ago, Hank was one of those who welcomed us warmly and became a good neighbor and friend. And given that we were both submariners in the past, we shared a number a great stories over the years. He lead a wonderful and full life and will be remembered fondly by all that knew him.
I would like to thank Henry and Kathy Corbin for the many times of welcoming the Bergstrom family to their home. Henry and Kathy were good friends of my grandparents Maxine and Roger Bergstrom whom I never met due to their early deaths. I am very grateful to Henry and Kathy for sharing old videos of Maxine and Roger and the many stories and memories to the Bergstrom grandchildren. Mr. Corbin will forever be in my heart & memory; I was one of those people he assisted in obtaining my first home. I had a baby, mother dying of cancer & not 2 nickles to rub together, still he made it possible. I will always be thankful for his assistance, and he did it with compassion & grace (not a word that usually comes to mind when referencing Mr. C - he was a funny bird)!
