Hilda M. Brooks' Obituary
Hilda M. Brooks 80, of Edgewood, MD died at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD on Saturday, April 28, 2007.
She was born in Hurlock, MD on December 14, 1926 the daughter of the late Horace and Della Payne Brooks.
She was a graduate of Hurlock High School Class of 1947 and worked for John N. Wright as a bookkeeper for 15 years.
She attended the First Baptist Church in Edgewood and the Edgewood AARP and the Senior Council Center of Edgewood. She was a former resident of Hurlock and attended First Baptist Church in Hurlock until moving to the Edgewood area.
She is survived by a sister, Jennie B. Fleckenstein of Fallston, MD and three nieces, Carla Fromille of Fallston, MD, Lynn McClellan of Virginia Beach., VA and Susan Johnson of Edgewood, MD and a nephew Paul Fleckenstein of Plantation, FL.
Funeral services for her will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Framptom Funeral Home, P.A. in Federalsburg with Rev. Francis Trascritti officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from noon to 2:OO p.m. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Federalsburg.
