Hope M Murphy's Obituary
Hope M. Murphy passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Kent General Hospital in Dover, DE. She was 58.
She was born on September 27, 1960 in Baltimore, Maryland, the daughter of the late Edgar A Carter and Ethel Marie Shultz Carter.
She enjoyed arts and crafts; and could create anything with her talents and abilities. She loved spending time with her family, children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Merritt “Dale” Murphy of Greensboro, four children, Amy Long, Robert Sears, Christy Murphy and Merritt Dale Murphy, Jr; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; four siblings, Sandy Schmuff, Linda Carter, Richard Carter, and Andy Carter. She was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Carter.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 1:00p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with the Reverend Buddy Dunn officiating. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery near Federalsburg. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00.
