H. Wilson Meredith's Obituary
Harold Wilson Meredith of Federalsburg, MD passed away on Wed. April 28, 2010 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford. He was 81.
He was born July 25, 1928 in Smithville, MD the son of the late Leon Wilson Meredith and Mabel Frances Thawley Meredith.
He had worked for the former Holt/Medford Oil Co. as a truck driver, and he owned and operated the H. Wilson Meredith Wholesale & Sundry Business until retirement.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Eunice Hubbard Meredith, whom he married on Oct. 21, 1949, a son Jay L. Meredith of Reliance, MD, two granddaughters Melanie Leigh Adams and her husband Joe of Clements, MD, and Ashley Leigh McConnell and her husband Jason of Daytona Beach, FL, two great-grandsons Joseph P. Adams, Jr. of Clements and Caden James McConnell of Daytona Beach, former daughter-in-law Cindy Meredith of Federalsburg, four siblings, Elaine Phillips of Horn Town, Mary Jane Sanders and Christine Nagel, both of Federalsburg, and Clifford Meredith of Easton, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 3, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home with Rev. Denzil Cheek officiating. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Cemetery in Federalsburg. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
