Ida Lord's Obituary
Ida Mae Lord, formerly of Eldorado, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at Genesis HealthCare-The Pines in Easton. She was 85.
She was born Dec. 26, 1921 near Salisbury, MD the daughter of the late Leonard and Frances Jester Lord.
She was a presser at the former Sharptown Sewing Factory. She attended the former Eldorado United Methodist Church.
She is survived by 2 nieces, Mary Lord Cheezum of Preston and Carol Payne of Federalsburg, a nephew, Otis Wallace Lord, Jr. of Salisbury, and a cousin, Betty L. Shufelt of Federalsburg. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers, William Lord, Raymond Lord, Harold Lord, and Otis Wallace Lord, Sr.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 27, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Eldorado Cemetery in Eldorado, MD with Rev. Dale Evans officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Eldorado Cemetery Fund, c/o Brinsfield Lowe, 5730 Lone Pine Rd., Rhodesdale, MD 21659.
