Irene Everage Elliott's Obituary
Irene Everage Elliott was born in Louisville, KY on August 12, 1932. She departed this life on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at her home in Federalsburg, MD, at the age of 85.
She was the daughter of the late Sam Everage and the late Martha Armes Everage. Irene was preceded in death by her husband, John Charles Elliott.
She was a longtime member of Park Lane Church of God in Federalsburg where she was a member of SWAP, Seniors With A Purpose, and WOWW, Wonderful World of Widows. She loved helping people and was loved by many people. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, James Elliott (Stacy), Joan Larrimore (Robert), Johnny Ray Elliott Sr., Wanda Meredith, Thomas Elliott (Robin), and Robert Elliott, eight grandchildren, Jarrod, Shawn, Eddie Jr., Lori, Bobbie Jo, B.J., Robert Jr., and Chrissy, ten great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren, two brothers, Roy Lee Edwards and Sammy Everage, and three sisters, Mary Conaway, Glenna Fay LeCates, Carol Jackson.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Thomas Everage, Ronnie Everage, Edith Cornett, a granddaughter, Dawn Larrimore Ruark, and her companion of over thirty years, Billy Fisher.
A funeral service will be held at Park Lane Church of God in Federalsburg on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 11 am with Bishop Ray Parsons officiating. Friends may call on the family from 10-11 am at the church on Thursday. Interment will be held at Hill Crest Cemetery immediately following the church service.
