Isabelle C. Robertson's Obituary
Isabelle C. Robertson of Federalsburg passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2008 at Genesis-The Pines in Easton. She was 87.
She was born March 14, 1921 Denton, MD, the daughter of the late Emory Christopher and Edna Cook Christopher.
She graduated from Cambridge High School and continued her education at Beauty Academy in Baltimore. She was a Pharmacist Assistant at Canter’s Drug Store in Federalsburg for twenty-six years. She was a member of Union United Methodist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Post 5246 where she had served as past president. She loved bowling and playing bingo.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, John W. Robertson, Sr., three children, John W. Robertson, Jr. and his wife Carol of Berlin, MD, Carol Lee Ruark and her husband, John of Federalsburg, Timothy Robertson of Scottsdale, AZ, nine grandchildren, Joni Garvey, Robin Robertson, Lori Colby, Kevin Robertson, Peggy Fraser, Matt Robertson, Patricia Ruark, Chris Robertson, John Ruark, Jr., several great-grandchildren, a sister, Peggy Christopher and her friend, Irene Carson of Portland, OR, and a niece, Lisa Zeigler of Hanover, PA. She was preceded in death by a sister, Marianlee Wingfield.
A memorial service will be held at Framptom Funeral Home on Sunday, October 19, 2008 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Denzil Cheek officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
