J.D. Davis' Obituary
On Friday Jan 10th 2014 J.D Davis (Big Poppa) of East New Market MD passed away at his residence. He was born October 14, 1928 in Bolivar County, MS to Nathan Davis and Clara Rauiry.
He was employed and retired from Harper Bateman later changed to B&G in Hurlock, MD.
He leave to mourn his loving wife Georgia Batson-Davis, and three step-daugthers; Deanna Rodgers (William) of Baltimore, MD, Daniela Hall of Rhodesdale, and Vincenta Parker(Terrance) of Cambridge, MD; two step-sons Eric Batson (Denicia) of Baltimore, MD and JaMar Turner of Salisbury, MD; five step-grandchildren- Kadeem Rodgers of Washington DC, Eric II and Yiarra Batson of Baltimore, MD and Daizja Smith and Taren Parker (Ms. Parker) of Cambridge, MD; mother-in-law Lorraine Bolden Federalsburg MD; two sister-in-laws, Faye Batson of Cambridge, MD, and Cynthia Stanley (Gordon) of Seaford, DE; brother-in-law Carlos Batson of Cambridge, MD; two dear friends Randy Scott of Federalsburg, MD and Stanley Gilmore of East New Market, MD; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be conducted at the Frampton-Hawkins Funeral Home on Friday January 17, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. by Bernadette Velez.
