Jack Martin Daniels' Obituary
Jack Martin Daniels of Laurel, DE passed away on April 4, 2024 at his granddaughter's home. He was 79.
He was born on January 30, 1945 in Baltimore, Maryland; the son of the late Leroy Reid Daniels and Margaret May Daniels.
Growing up in Baltimore, he loved to tinker and even built a motorcycle in his bedroom by ordering parts from a catalog. When it was complete, he drove it out of the house. He loved to build and was a very skilled auto mechanic over the years.
In his retirement, he worked for the Auto Zone in Seaford.
In his free time, he loved visits to the ¼ mile drag strip in Delmar. He also was a gun enthusiast and enjoyed his collection with his family. He will always be remembered as a fun Daddy & Pop Pop, his sense of humor and love for his family.
He is survived by his wife Barbara, daughter Tammy and her husband Dale and son Carl and his wife Minette, three grandchildren: Amanda, Tiffany and Stacey; two great-grandchildren: Addison and Jack Daniels and two siblings: Margaret and Kathy.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister Harriett.
Graveside services st Good Shepherd Cemetery, Ellicott City, Maryland will be private and at the convenience of the family.
