Jack Richardson's Obituary
Jack Elwyn Richardson of Preston, MD died Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2009 at his residence. He was 83 years old.
He was born Feb. 16, 1926 in Clarandon, VA, the son of the late William M. and Eva Broehm Richardson.
He served his country as a U.S. Marine Corps veteran serving in WW II and the Korean War. He retired as Captain in the Kensington Fire Department in Montgomery County here he received many citations. He was a Licensed Charter Boat Captain working out of Tilghman Island and Chesapeake Beach, MD.
He is survived by a sister-in-law Virginia H. Richardson of Deal, MD, 2 nieces Sandra Davis and Jane McGee, a nephew Wm. Macon Richardson, III of Deal, MD and close friends Christopher D. Baney and Kevin S. Baney. A sister, Edith Powell and a brother William Macon Richardson, Jr., preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Aug. 14, 2009 at 12:00 noon at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg, MD. Interment with military honors will follow at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Hurlock, MD. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
