He was born on March 22, 1984, the son of Kenneth Strozier and Vonya Yvette Cephas.
Jamar's life may have been cut short but he touched the hearts of many while he was here with us. He had a passion for his family, enjoyed family gatherings, and doing things with his kids. He enjoyed writing in his spare time. Jamar loved music and often wrote little rap lyrics. He also enjoyed having little rap battles against his friends. Most of all he really loved his family and enjoyed getting together with his children, nephews and nieces.
Jamar had a bubbly spirit and could have everyone doubled over with laughter. It was always lively whenever he entered a room. Jamar enjoyed eating and was really happy doing it. He truly loved his fitted hats he wore all the time. He loved his sneakers and the sport of basketball. Jamar loved and motivated the children of the community and his cheerful attitude and quick bright smile will be missed.
