James R Barrow's Obituary
James R. Barrow, of Denton died at the University of MD. Shore Medical Center on Monday May 1, 2023. He was 83.
Born in Talbot Co. on January 20, 1940 he was the son of the late Russell and Kathryn Leonard Barrow. Mr. Barrow or "Butch" as he was known by all, attended Talbot Co. Public schools. He then worked as a commercial waterman for many years until helping his father in law in his farming operation. Butch then continued working as a farmer in Talbot co. until his retirement. Following his retirement he and his wife the former Janice Eason moved to Florida, North Carolina, returning to Maryland in the early 2000's.
In addition to his wife Janice, he is survived by a brother; Jerry Barrow (Sharon) of Tilghman, several nieces and nephews, numerous friends in the tri county area. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his two children; Kathy Martin, and James "Jimmy" Barrow Jr.
A visitation will be held at the Framptom Funeral Home-Ostrowski Chapel, 312 S. Talbot Street St. Michaels, MD. on Monday May 8, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00PM.
Graveside services will be private.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or to Alzheimers Research.
