James Calivn "Cal" Morgan's Obituary
James Calvin "Cal" Morgan, 77, of Easton, passed away on Tuesday, Decemeber 20, 2016 at the Pines in Easton. He was 77.
Born in Baltimore City on October 16, 1939, a son of the late James Calvin Morgan, Sr. and Genevieve Garvey Morgan. He and his family moved to Easton in 1973.
He served in the National Guard from 1958 to 1962. Cal among others started the Tidewater Softball League, which was popular in the late 70's and 80's throughout Talbot County. He was also active in the Little League and Senior baseball. Cal managed the Chesapeake Bowling Alley for many years. He retired in 2012 after working in Caroline County.
He is survived by his wife Patricia "Pat" Morgan, daughter Michelle A. Morgan, son and daughter-in-law James and Kathleen Morgan, III, two sisters Patricia Ciekot and husband Gerald and Phoebe Gockel and husband Dale, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private.
