James Brent Haddaway's Obituary
James Brent Haddaway, Sr. of Tilghman, MD, formally of Bozman, MD, died July 9, 2022 after a long battle of heart and kidney disease at University of Maryland hospital in Easton with his wife at his side. He was 58 years old.
Born October 13, 1963 in Easton, MD to the late William James Haddaway and Margaret Willey Haddaway. He went to Saint Michaels High School and then became a full-time waterman at the age of 15 years old. Brent then started welding and making items for watermen. He enjoyed riding on his golf cart to shore to see all the watermen and friends, fishing, crabbing, and hunting until he couldn't do it anymore.
Brent is survived by his wife of 41 years, Tina Jump Haddaway, two sons James "JB" Haddaway, Jr. (Jamie), Charles "Danny" Haddaway (Mariah), both from Tilghman, three grandchildren Madison, Jim, Mercy and two half-brothers Harry Hause (Judy), George Hause. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, a special cousin Donna Sue Zeches and his three dogs Ooma, Tilley and Dozer were his companions. Brent proceeds in death Edward Hause, Esther Christopher, Charles "Skipper" Haddaway, Craig Hause, and Caleb Wood.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Tilghman Fire Department on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 4:00 p.m.
