James Richard Willey's Obituary
J. Richard Willey of Harmony passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018. He was 64.
He was the son of the late J. Burton and Verna G. Willey, born in Easton on July 3, 1953. He graduated from Colonel Richardson High School class of 1971. He was a mechanic all his life. He worked for Preston Trucking for 31 years until their closing and after that was self- employed. He loved the outdoors especially his passion for hunting in Maryland and Maine. Most of all, he loved his family, especially his grandchildren.
Ricky married Debra L. Willey on February 23, 1974, who was his lifelong love passing 2 weeks before their 44th wedding anniversary.
He is survived by his wife Debbie, two sons and their wives, JW and Dawn, Jason and Bri, his two very special grandchildren, Summer and Aiden Willey all of Harmony, a niece Heather Goodger and nephew Aaron Saulsbury, his mother-in-law Barbara Wagner, and sister-in-law Cindy Saulsbury extended family.
It was his request that anyone attending his service please dress casual as you would to visit a friend. He wished to be cremated and later Debbie and his ashes be put together for eternal life.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at 3:00 at the Framptom Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
