James L. Williamson Jr.'s Obituary
James “Jim” L. Williamson, Jr. died at Memorial Hospital in Easton, on Tuesday, January 1, 2013. He was 72.
He was born June 4, 1940 in Denton, MD the son of Louise Howard Williamson of Seaford and the late James Leon Williamson, Sr.
He graduated from Federalsburg High School class of 1958. He worked at the Peabody Institute and upon retirement he then worked at Johns Hopkins University. He enjoyed playing the violin and all kinds of music. Jim also enjoyed meeting friends at Donna’s Café in Mt. Vernon in Baltimore. He also enjoyed visiting his brother Tommy and his sister-in-law Marie. Jim liked people and people liked him. In addition to his mother he is survived by two sisters, Eleanor W. Wootten and her husband Paul, of Galestown, Frances W. Ruark and her husband Ronnie, of Seaford, a sister-in-law, Marie Williamson of Federalsburg, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother , Thomas R. Williamson. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Framptom Funeral Home, P. A. in Federalsburg, MD.
