James E. Dean, II's Obituary
James E. Dean, II died at his home in Preston, MD on July 4, 2011 at the age of 76.
He was born in Easton, MD on September 26, 1934 the son of the late James E. and Clara Breeding Dean. He served in the U S Army from 1954 to 1956 with Headquarters Detachment of the 29th Signal Battalion while stationed in Berlin, Germany. He was a member of Easton VFW Post 5118. He worked at several different businesses in the Easton area, before retiring after working for several years at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery near Hurlock. He is survived by his long time kindred spirit, Joy Jean of Preston, a son, James E. Dean III of McDaniel, MD, a daughter, Julianna Dean Fluharty and her husband James F. Fluharty of Easton, and grandchildren, Ashton Obitz and her husband Ryan Orbitz Sr., Mirissa Foust, David Dean, Sara Dean and his two great-grandchildren, Ryan Obitz Jr. and Isabellah Obitz. Funeral services for him will be held on Monday, July 11, 2011 at 12:00 noon at Framptom Funeral Home, P.A. in Federalsburg, MD with Rev. Carol Ann Phillips officiating. Interment with military honors will be held at Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 to 12:00. The family has requested that donations be made in his memory to the American Heart Association c/o Christy Coale 216 North Main Street Federalsburg, MD 21632.
