James Jesse Reeves, Jr.'s Obituary
James Jesse Reeves, Jr., 82, of Salisbury died September 16, 2008 at Coastal Hospice by the Lake after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.
He was born in Chatham, VA, the son of the late James J. Reeves, Sr. and Lillie Waldron Reeves.
He served in the Korean War while in the U.S. Army from 1950-1952. He became a Production Operator from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington, DC where he retired after 38 years. He was also a member of Angler’s Unlimited and the American Legion in Greenbelt, MD
He is survived by a son, Dennis J. Reeves of Laurel, DE, two daughters, Theresa Sullivan and Kathryn Reeves both of Hebron, a brother, Charles Reeves and his wife, Grace of Bowie, MD, three grandchildren, Krista Reeves, Katie Reeves, and Ryan Reeves, and former wife, Frances Reeves.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 19, 2008 at 12 o’clock noon at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Maryland Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Hurlock.
