James "Jim Pete" Jones' Obituary
James F. Jones, known as “Jim Pete” or “Jimmy” passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008 at the Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury, MD. He was 65 years old.
He was born Feb. 25, 1942 in Hurlock, MD, the son of the late James E. and Jeanette E. Jones.
He worked in construction and had been employed by the former Marshy Hope Sand and Gravel Co. as an equipment operator. He was a member of the American Legion Post #243 in Hurlock, and he loved to fish and hunt and to be outdoors. He was a avid golfer.
He is survived by a daughter Tammy Clementson of Hurlock, a stepson, Ronald S. Bennett, Jr. of Seaford, DE, a grandson, Colby Clementson of Hurlock, 6 step-grandchildren, a sister, Mary Virginia Powell of Federalsburg, a brother George Jones of Union Grove, NC, several nieces, nephews and his former wife, Gloria M. Cyr of Cambridge, MD.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Jan. 14, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home, P.A. in Federalsburg with The Rev. Blanche Powell officiating. Interment will follow in Unity-Washington Cemetery in Hurlock. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
