Jane Marie Livingston
St. Michaels, MD and Treasure Island, FL. Jane Marie Livingston passed away peacefully at her home in Seminole, FL on Saturday, March 26, 2016. Jane was born December 15, 1966 in Easton, MD to Charles T. (Chuck) and Linda I. Livingston. She graduated from St. Michaels High School in 1984. Jane proudly joined the U.S. Navy, where she was stationed at Miramar Naval Air Station near San Diego, California. Jane did well in the Navy but after 2 ½ years was diagnosed with diabetes and released from military service. She then acquired a position with American West Airlines out of Baltimore, MD; along with a part-time job at the toll gates of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge while living in Baltimore. She left these two jobs to begin her employment with the M.V.A. office in Easton, MD; for nearly eleven years. Jane then moved to St. Pete Beach, Florida, not far from the Veterans Affairs Clinic where she needed medical assistance. Jane had lived in Florida for seven years until her untimely death. She spent a great deal of time at the V.A. Clinic helping other veterans deal with their wounds and health disabilities. Jane was a sincerely generous person who took great pleasure in helping other veterans while they were in and out of the hospital.
Jane is survived by her parents, a sister, Julie Jones and wife Pama Morrow of St. Michaels, MD, niece, Lindsay Jones of St. Michaels, MD, nephew T. J. Jones and wife Courtney, currently stationed with the Navy in Yokosuka, Japan, great-niece Lydia Murphy, great-nephew Brandt Jones, devoted partner and caretaker, Debbie DiDiego of Seminole, FL, dog Star, cat Sammy and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at the Bozman United Methodist Church, Bozman, Md., on Saturday, April, 2, 2016 at 11:00AM. A viewing will be held on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00PM at the Ostrowski Funeral Home P.A. St Michaels, Md., and at the church on Saturday, from 10:00 to 11:00AM
