Jane Elizabeth Tull's Obituary
Jane Elizabeth Tull, formerly of Federalsburg, Md, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at Denton Nursing and Rehab where she had been a resident for several years. Jane was 89 years old.
Born on April 23, 1936 near Concord, MD, Jane was the daughter of the late George and Edna (Moore) Turner. She was educated in local schools and graduated from Caroline High School in Denton. Jane married Richard James Tull on June 1, 1957 and it was there that they raised their children. Jane and Richard also acted as foster parents twenty-five years.
Besides being a homemaker for several decades, Jane later went to work as a private duty nurse. She also was employed at Chesapeake Head Injury Center near Saint Michaels, MD and at Caroline County Group Homes. Jane worshiped at New Liberty Wesleyan Church.
Left to mourn Jane's passing are her children William Tull, Kevin Tull and his wife Robin and Nanc-Marie Gump; her grandchildren Elizabeth, Jennifer and Adam; her nephew Paul Coulby; and her niece Esther Lednum.
Preceding Jane in death was her husband Richard; her parents George and Edna; her brothers George Turner and Howard Turner; and her sisters Dorothy Coulby and Martha Phillips.
All services for Jane are private, and she will be interred next to husband in Hillcrest Cemetery in Federalsburg at a later date.
Arrangements were entrusted to Framptom Funeral Home by the Coales, Federalsburg, MD.
