Janet F. Moore's Obituary
Janet F. Moore of Federalsburg, MD passed away on Monday, July 18, 2011 at her home. She was 73.
She was born July 24, 1937 in Easton, MD, the daughter of the late
Medford R. and Bessie M. Lankford Coulbourne. Her husband, Earl Grant Moore preceded her in death.
She was a graduate of Federalsburg High School Class of 1955. She had worked for the former Service Trucking in Federalsburg and had retired after 32 years of service as a Teacher’s Aide at the Federalsburg Elementary School. She was a very active member of the Park Lane Church of God. She served as VP of the Wonderful World of Widows since 2005. She also served in the Nursery Program and was known as “Mom Mom” by many young children. She was a member of Seniors With A Purpose and had a special love for drawing, painting, and creative writing.
She is survived by a son M. Darrin Moore and his wife Kim of Federalsburg, two grandchildren Conner and Kaylie Moore of Federalsburg, a brother Wayne M. Coulbourne and his wife Marie of Federalsburg, a sister, Donna M. Tilghman and her husband Jack of Ocean View, DE, two close sisters-in-law Audrey Taylor of Seaford, DE and Beverly Hurley of Hurlock, many nieces and nephews, and many wonderful friends who blessed her in so many ways.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Park Lane Church of God in Federalsburg with Bishop Ray Parsons officiating. Friends may call on Thursday at the Framptom Funeral from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday at the church from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
Inurnment will be private in East New Market Cemetery.
