Janice M. Wheatley's Obituary
Janice Marie Wheatley, 85 years old, was born November 19, 1937, and peacefully departed this earthly life December 2, 2022.
Janice retired from the State of Maryland Comptroller's office as an auditor having served 30+ years and was also previously employed at Koski Trucking. In her retirement she enjoyed good times with family & friends, cooking, NASCAR and wrestling.
A loving mother & wonderful mother-in-law, "Shorty" leaves behind daughter, Debra Vazuez; son Darren Wheatley and his wife, Gale of Bivalve, MD and son David Wheatley, Sr. and wife, Michelle of Federalsburg, MD. Grandchildren Abigail Sinclair and husband Rusty; Larami Ball & husband, Chris; J.P. Watson & wife, Tiffany; David Wheatley, Jr., Cheyanne Carter, Katie Wheatley, Shawn Wheatley and Makayla Wheatley; several beloved great grand-children, nieces and nephews. Also surviving are sister-in-law, Ruth Wheatley, and dearest friends Gladys Moxey, Ronnie Moxie, Sue Meachum, Susan Shelley, and Lisa Shelly Parks .
Janice was preceded into eternity by her parents, Grover & Ethel Wright of Federalsburg; her brothers William & Wallace Wright; and the first and last love of her life, Glenn Callis.
Arrangements are being handled by Frampton Funeral Home and honoring her request, there will be no public service. After cremation she will be interred with her "mom & daddy".
