Janice Messick Sanders' Obituary
Janice Messick Sanders of Preston passed away at Memorial Hospital in Easton on Tuesday, November 1, 2011. She was 65 years old.
She was born September 25, 1946 in Seaford, DE daughter of Norma Thawley Messick of Seaford, DE and the late Milton Messick.
She graduated from Seaford High School class of 1964. She enjoyed mowing the lawn, fishing, cooking, and going to the beach.
Besides her mother she is survived by her husband, Richard Sanders, two daughters, Kimberly L. Cummings of Fenwick Island, DE, Kerri L. Cummings of Dusseldorf, Germany, a step-daughter, Jennifer Coleman of Oxford, MD, five grandchildren, Parker, MacKenzie, Sydney, Benjamin, and Aiden. She was proceeded in death by a brother, Ronald Messick.
Services will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Delaware State Trooper Association, Fallen Hero’s Unit, 6349 North Dupont Highway, Cheswold, DE 19936.
