Janice Ruth Hayes' Obituary
Janice Ruth Hayes of Federalsburg was unexpectedly taken home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2007 near Seaford. She was 41.
She was born on October 23, 1966, the daughter of Pail W. Pierce and Marjean Gilbert Pierce of Nashville, Tennessee.
She received an Associates Degree in Accounting and Business from Pensacola Jr. College in Pensacola, Florida. She was a medical transciptionist.
She attended with her husband and daughter, the Salvation Army Sussex Chapel in Seaford, DE. She was an accomplished pianist and held several positions as an accompanist in local churches.
Besides her parents she is survived by her husband, Robert H. Hayes whom she married on June 21, 1986, a son, Airman Robert C. Hayes, USAF of Monterey, California, a daughter, April J. Hayes of Federalsburg, two sisters, Elizabeth Purtee of Nashville, TN, Gloria Cardona of Jacksonville, FL, three nephews, and one niece.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Denton Wayside Church of Christ in Christian Union with Lts. Chas and Debbie Engel, of the Salvation Army, officiating. Interment will follow at Bloomery Cemetery near Smithville. Friends may call at the Framptom Funeral Home, P.A. in Federalsburg, MD on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m.
