Jean Croom's Obituary
Jean M. Croom from Farmington departed from this world March 6, 2023.
She was a hard working woman who retired from the phone company as a telephone operator. She then worked at Weller's Tires and most recently at Harrington Raceway and Casino. Jean enjoyed interacting with all people. She loved family gatherings, good food and great desserts. Jean was also a dog lover and enjoyed the companionship of her shih tzu "Ladybug". Her many great and great-grandchildren would also bring a smile to her face!
She is survived by her son L. David "Dave" Smith and his wife Barney Smith and her grandchildren: Tony Smith and his wife Jackie, Tim Smith, Christy Smith, Dave Smith and his wife Kylee and Lindsey Divel.
A viewing for Jean will be held Tuesday March 14 from 6 to 7:30 at Framptom Funeral Home-Fleischauer Chapel in Greenwood, DE. Burial will be private.
