Jean C Hickey's Obituary
Jean C. Hickey of Saint Michaels, Maryland passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2023 at the Pines in Easton. She was 76.
She was born on July 5, 1946 in Ridgefield, CT; the daughter of the late John Tandy and Jessie Tandy.
She graduated from Ridgefield, CT High School with the class of 1963.
She married Joseph Hickey on September 5, 1992. They lived in Chicago before moving to St. Michaels for their retirement.
Jean was known for her love and talent for baking. She made the best cakes and pies and enjoyed sharing them with her family and friends. She also was an avid reader and enjoyed time with her husband, family and friends.
She is survived by four children: Eric Bottoms and his wife Gina of Wantage, NJ, Amy Kellem and her husband Lewis of Bartlett, TN, Nigel Hickey and his wife Heather of Houston, TX; and Michelle Hickey and her husband Eric of Nashville, TN; 8 grandchildren: Jake, Leah, William, Gabby, Sara, McKenzie, Jamie and Katie.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 11:00 at Framptom Funeral Home, 312 South Talbot Street in St. Michaels. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 at the Funeral Home.
