Jeanette Cephas' Obituary
Jeanette Todd Cephas passed away on Friday, Sept. 18, 2009 at Chesapeake Woods Nursing Home in Cambridge, MD. She was 78 years old.
She was born July 25, 1931 in Linkwood, MD, the daughter of the late Banus Todd and Sally Coleman Todd. Her husband, Roland Cephas, preceded her in death on Feb. 10, 2001.
She was a homemaker. She was known as a great cook and enjoyed doing special parties for her beloved grandchildren. She attended Park Lane Church of God and loved Gospel Music.
She is survived by her daughter Joan Bataille and her husband, Hyppolite, of Federalsburg, 2 grandsons Eugene Baynard and Clayton Baynard, Jr. , both of Federalsburg; great-grandson Clayton Baynard, III of Federalsburg, and several nieces and nephews.
