Jefferson Wayne Rust, Sr.'s Obituary
Jefferson W. Rust, Sr. of Farmington passed away on March 29, 2022 after a long illness. He was 71.
He was born on May 2, 1950 in Milford, the son of the late Leon Rust, Sr., and Esther Everett Rust.
He was married to Linda Rust.
He worked as a diesel mechanic and worked as a sub-contractor for Delaware Electric Cooperative for 30 plus years until his retirement.
In his free time, he enjoyed reading and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Linda Rust of Farmington, five sons: Jefferson W. Rust, Jr and his fiance Barb of Milford, Scott R., Rust and his wife Heather of Greenwood, Paul Edwards and his wife Jen of Milford, Brad Betts and his wife Kimmy of Queen Anne, MD, and Brian Betts of Georgetown; three brothers: Leon Rust, Jr of Greenwood, David W Rust of Felton, Randall C Rust of Harrington; three sisters: Sharon Dawson of Milford, Cindy Bolin and her husband John of Farmington and Patricia Mast and her husband Gordy of Harrington, 18 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Rust Sr.
