Jeffrey Morris Grant's Obituary
Jeffrey Morris Grant of Federalsburg passed away on Monday, August 16, 2021 at the University of Maryland Laurel Medical Center in Laurel, Maryland. He was 53.
He was born on August 31, 1967 in Easton, Maryland, the son of the late Paul Frederick Grant and Jean Grant Ainsworth.
Growing up in Easton, Jeff graduated from Easton High School with the class of 1983. He married Caren Corkran Grant on September 10, 1988.
He owned and operated Grants Automotive in Easton, Maryland. He enjoyed his work and looking after his customers' auto repairs and towing needs for many years. In addition to his Automotive business, he operated Grant's Trucking Company for many years.
Everything automotive and things that go fast - Jeff loved NASCAR, motorcycles and his trucks. In his free time, he loved entertaining and hosting his friends and family for grilling out. His greatest joy was his family, daughters and his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Caren Corkran Grant, two daughters: Ashlee Lord and her husband Taylor, and Stefanie Grant all of Federalsburg; a son Samuel Somers of New Mexico, his twin sister, Jennifer Harrison and her husband Skip of Preston, six grandchildren: Bennett, Trevor, Blayke, Pasilee, Lailah and Bryn: and three nephews: Clark Harrison, Grant Harrison, and Zach Grant.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gregory Grant.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
