Jennifer Lynn Sterling's Obituary
Jennifer Lynn Sterling, of Seaford, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2016 at Christiana Medical Center. She was 32.
She was born on September 7, 1983 in Cambridge, MD the daughter of Gregory Sterling and Deborah Dupree.
Jennifer was a member of the Dorchester County 4-H Club in her youth, and worked at various jobs on the Eastern Shore, some of which include, McDonalds, Denny’s, and the Cambridge Diner. In 2001 she enlisted in the U.S. Navy, where she was active until 2006. She enjoyed traveling abroad, joy riding and listening to music. Jennifer had a passion for outdoor activities, especially camping. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, who she truly adored.
She is survived by her parents; Gregory Sterling, Sr., of Preston, and Deborah Dupree of Reliance; a sister, Dawn Sterling-Stafford, of Federalsburg; a brother, Gregory Sterling, Jr., of Reliance, a son, Alex Razo, of San Diego, CA, a daughter, Kiera Ayon, of San Diego, CA, a grandmother, Barbara Jane Sterling of Federalsburg, an uncle, Steven Sterling, Sr. of Reliance and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Mary Ann and Joseph Dupree.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 1, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with Pastor Marie Coulborne officiating. Interment will follow at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Hurlock. Family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service.
