Jesse J. ("The Big J") Jump's Obituary
Jesse J. Jump St. Michaels, Jesse James Jump of St. Michaels, lost his battle with cancer on September 22, 2015. An avid sportsman, Jesse loved hunting and fishing. He was a lifelong waterman in St. Michaels, MD; and a hunting guide for many years with Waterdog Charters. He was a true Eastern Shoreman. Jesse is survived by his wife of 27 years, Lynn Jump of St. Michaels, his mother Betty Jane Jump also of St. Michaels, two sisters; Tammy Tarr and her husband Chuck of Bethlehem, MD., Tina Haddaway and her husband Brent of Easton, one brother; David Jump and his wife Mae of St. Michaels, his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Beverly and Bill Doyle of Baltimore, MD. Three Children; Scott Ramey and his wife Linda of Tigard, OR, Douglas Ramey, Jr. and his wife Dawn of Federalsburg, and Marsha Arledge of Wittman. Three grandchildren; Douglas Ramey III, Dave Arledge, and Jessica Ramey. As well as many close family and friends. Jesse was preceded in death by his father; James “Jimmy†Jump. A memorial service will be held at St. Lukes U.M.C. St. Michaels, MD; on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 4:00PM. Serving as Honorary pallbearer’s will be; Larry Roe, Mike Keller, Dink Daffin, Austin Webster, Sal Ballaera, Doug Morris, and Doug Ramey III. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Talbot County Waterman’s Association, P.O. Box 324 Bozman, MD. 21612 or to Talbot Hospice Foundation 586 Cynwood Drive, Easton, MD. 21601. Arrangements are by the Ostrowski Funeral Home P.A. of St. Michaels .
