Joan Diem's Obituary
Joan Veronica Diem of Federalsburg, passed away at her home on Tuesday, October 31, 2006. She was 77.
She was born in New York City, daughter of the late Frank Flors and Helen Robertson Flors.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, of fifty-two years, Samuel Y. Diem, five children, Linda H. Truitt, Donald Samuel Diem both of Federalsburg, Timothy Francis Diem and his wife, Dana, of Owings Mills, Bruce James Diem of Glen Burnie, James George Diem and his wife, Gale of Pasadena, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a sister, Helen Everson of Hurlock, two brothers, Robert Flors of Federalsburg and his wife, Helen, Frank Flors and his wife, Peggy of New York, four nephews, Phillip Everson, Russell Everson, Barry Everson, Robert F. Flors, and a niece, Elizabeth Thompson.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2006 at 3 p.m. at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with Rev. Peggy Johnson officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1-3 p.m.
