Joan Virginia Fooks' Obituary
Joan B. Fooks (nee Brown) of Federalsburg passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018. She was 84.
She was born on March 27, 1934 in Federalsburg, Maryland the daughter of the late Arthur Brown and Catherine Lewis Brown.
She was a graduate of Hurlock High School and later graduated from Macqueen Gibbs Willis School of Nursing. She was married to W. Lloyd Fooks, Jr who preceded her in death on May 29, 2014..
She enjoyed her garden, flowers, cooking and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by two children, Jeff Fooks and his wife Sheila and Amy Fooks Wright and her husband Michael all of Federalsburg, two grandchildren, Hunter and Taylor, and one brother, Kenneth H. Brown and his wife Soni of Dover, DE.
A visitation with family and friends will be held at Joan’s home on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 at 6542 North Tara Road, Federalsburg MD.
