Joan Kibler's Obituary
Joan Teresa Kibler, age 85, of Greensboro, MD went to be with the Lord on October 24, 2025.
She was born June 27, 1940 in Paterson, NJ, a daughter of the late Marion White and John Jacyssin.
Joan graduated from Butler High School in New Jersey and moved to Maryland with her mother and siblings and worked in several factories, including Rob Roy in Ridgely as a professional seamstress.
She married Charles Lester Kibler of Greensboro in 1963, with 51 years of marriage only separated by his passing in 2014.
She spent 20 years working for Caroline County Board of Education in the school cafeteria at Greensboro Elementary School. In addition, she assisted in bookkeeping of the family business, Kibler Brothers.
Her hobbies included traveling, camping, gardening and mischievous fun with family and friends. She taught Sunday school many years to young children at Greensboro Baptist Church and enjoyed her church family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Lester Kibler, Sr. and her son George Burch, III.
She is survived by her two daughters Eileen Burch of Goldsboro, MD and Brenda Kibler of Greensboro, MD; a son Charles Lester Kibler; and four grandchildren, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss her.
A memorial service will take place on Friday, October 31, 2025 at 11:00 am at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg. A visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at 10:00 am.
