Joan Rush's Obituary
Joan Bowie Rush of Preston, Maryland passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at The Memorial Hospital in Easton, Maryland. She was 65
She was born on December 12, 1941 in Elevation, Anne Arundel County, Maryland the daughter of the late Walter Bowie and Louise Welch Bowie.
She was a member of the Bethesda United Methodist Church in Preston. She was a homemaker that enjoyed bowling, golf, and crocheting. She was a caregiver to the elderly and provided care for her father-in-law for many years.
She is survived by her husband, William A. Rush of Preston, Maryland, two daughters, Shelly Dulin and her husband Stacy of Oxford, and Sherry Stoker and her husband Joe of Harmony, five grandchildren, Jordan, Jacob, Matthew, Tanner, Garrett and Bonnie, three sisters, Betty Bowie of Easton, Delores Dolby of Federalsburg, and Helen Garrett of Linthicum, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Scott Rush, two brothers, Walter Bowie and James Bowie and two sisters, Barbara Wahl and Shirley Bowersox.
A funeral service is planned for Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home, P.A., in Federalsburg. The Reverend Joan Wolff will officiate. Interment will follow at the Eastern Shore Veteran’s Cemetery in Beulah. Friends may call the funeral home on Monday from 6-8 p.m
