Joanne W Bradley's Obituary
Joanne W. Bradley passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford, Delaware. She was 85.
She was born on November 27, 1932 in Laurel, Delaware, the daughter of the late Claude Weatherly and Mildred W. Weatherly.
She graduated from Laurel high School and started her career as a Book Keeper with A.I. DuPont in Seaford, DE. During her service there, she met and married Norman R. Bradley in September of 1956 and they made their home in Federalsburg. After her time with DuPont, she continued her career at the Bank of America in Federalsburg. She later worked for Federal Paper in Federalsburg and retired after 27 years of service.
Over the years, she enjoyed traveling with her husband and friends She loved her extended family and many nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Norman R. Bradley of Federalsburg, one brother, Bill Weatherly of Baltimore, Maryland, two sisters Ronnie Lee of Laurel DE; and Vicky Story of Milford, DE; one special nephew, Shane Phillips of Laurel, DE and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 11:00 at Hill Crest Cemetery in Federalsburg with her nephew, Shane Phillips officiating.
