I considered this man an icon of the Parker family. Even though my mom was adopted by the Parker family , I always felt welcome and part of the family until my mom passed and the truth came out. Most of the parkers didn’t acknowledge us as family…. Uncle John was one of few that always treated me as nothing less than family….. he will be greatly missed….I just found this obituary because nobody in the family bothered to call me, I was actually looking up my grandfathers obituary Howard Parker and John popped up first. God bless you uncle John won’t be long before we meet again
