John L Todd's Obituary
John Lamar Todd passed away on Monday, May 22, 2017 at his home in East New Market, Maryland. He was 70.
He was born on October 24, 1946 in Cambridge, MD, the son of the late John Roger Todd and Theola Todd.
He graduated from North Dorchester High School in 1964. After high school, he attended Goldey-Beacom University in Wilmington. On October 29, 1965 he married Sharon Wrightson. He served in the National Guard from 1966 - 1972. After his service, he worked at E.I. Dupont for 15 years as a mechanic. Later, he operated his own tire store with his son, Todd’s Tire Center in East New Market. . John enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his brother and spending tie with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Todd of East New Market, two children Chad Todd and his wife Mende of Secretary, and Kristopher Todd and his wife Traci of Snow Hill, seven grandchildren, and a brother, Thomas Todd and his wife Donna of Hurlock. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
