John Clinton President's Obituary
John Clinton President of Federalsburg, MD passed away on Friday, April 1, 2011 at Mallard Bay Nursing Home in Cambridge, MD. He was 80.
Born Aug. 13, 1930 in Madison, FL, the son of Johnny and Mae Bell President. He was preceded in death by his wives, Earline Jones President and Martha Batson President.
He served his country for eight years in the U.S. Army serving from 1953 to 1961 during the Korean Conflict. He was a maintenance mechanic working for Maryland Plastics. He was a locksmith, and enjoyed working on cars, collecting coins and cooking.
He is survived by four daughters, Bonnie M. President of Federalsburg, Sharon P. President and Sheila P. President both of Cambridge, MD and Gloria Jones of Federalsburg., step-children, three grandchildren Ebony Wilder of Beltsville, MD, Clinton Wilder of Federalsburg and Natalie President of Hurlock, two great-grandchildren, David Milligan, Jr and Nia Milligan, both of Hurlock, and a host of nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and wives he was preceded in death by a brother William President.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with Rev. Stanford Ricks officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery, Beulah, MD. There will be a viewing at the Framptom Funeral Home on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
