John Herbert Wilkerson, Jr.'s Obituary
John Herbert Wilkerson, Jr. passed away on Monday, July 29, 2011 at his home. He was 78 years old. He was born July 22, 1933 in Scaggsville, MD, the son of the late John H.
Wilkerson, Sr. and Mona Sisk Wilkerson. He was a truck driver and had worked for Seabord Foundation.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lillian Cochran Wilkerson whom he married on Oct. 27, 1952, three sons, Charles Wilkerson (Linda) of Woodbine, MD, Terry Wilkerson, Sr. of Hurlock, and Kenny Wilkerson (Beth) of Frederick, MD, one daughter, JoAnn Woytovich of New Windsor, MD, two grandchildren Terry Wilkerson, Jr. of Hurlock and Rachel Woytovich of New Windsor, a great-granddaughter Hali Wilkerson of Hurlock, and from thirteen siblings a brother Robert Wilkerson of North Carolina, and a sister Gene Nicholson of Burtonsville, MD survives, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Cremation will follow the service.
