Joseph Matthew Paul's Obituary
Joseph Matthew Paul of Cokesbury, Maryland passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at his home. He was 73.
He was born on January 26, 1943 in Williamsburg, Maryland the son of the late John Wilson and Margaret Paul Cole.
He was raised by his grandparents, Leita & Jasper Neal in Williamsburg and graduated from North Dorchester High School with the class of 1961. After graduation, he married Elizabeth Leeser Paul on June 30, 1962.
He was a truck driver for the former Service Trucking Company, Preston Trucking Company, and ABF. He was awarded membership in the million mile club for driving safely. He was a lifetime member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Jolly Circle Horse Club. His passions were driving his truck, riding horses and bailing hay!
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Leeser Paul of Cokesbury, two children, Lisa Marino and her husband Frank of Seaford, Joey Paul of Seaford, six grandchildren, Hollie Gordon and her husband Joseph of Georgetown, DE (Adelynn Joy), Elizabeth Condit and her husband Michael of Houston, TX (Evan), Melissa Marino of Harrisburg, PA, Frankie Marino of Seaford, DE (Landon and Kylie) Alexandrea Marino of Seaford, DE (Elijah and Christian), and Leah Marino of Newark, DE, three ½ brothers, Donny Cole of Salisbury, James Cole of Eldorado and Paul Cole of Eldorado.
A celebration of life is planned for Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 12 Noon at Cokesbury United Methodist Church in Cokesbury with the Reverend Denzil Cheek officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 12:00.
