Josephine Harding's Obituary
Josephine Magrogan Harding of Federalsburg passed away peacefully in her home on September 23, 2025. She was 84.
The daughter of the late Joseph Edward and Bernadette Graham Magrogan, Josephine was born in Chestertown, MD on July 4, 1941.
Josephine attended Centreville High School and graduated with the class of 1959. Following graduation, she attended the old hospital school in Cambridge, MD where she graduated in practical nursing in 1960. In 1963, she married her husband Norman Burnell Harding, Sr. and spent over 60 years together until her passing. Josephine was a production operator for Black & Decker until her retirement in 1998. In her free time, Josephine enjoyed reading, sewing and crochet, watching TV and traveling to new places.
Josephine is survived by her husband, Norman B. Harding, Sr.; her sons: Joseph W. Harding (Brenda) of Bridgeville and David E. Harding (Lisa) of Oklahoma City; her sister: Louise Magrogan Remmert of Glen Burnie; her grandchildren: Katelyn Sasso (Jacob), Joel Harding, Rebekah Harding, Brian Grachek and Wendy Grachek; her great-grandchildren George and Aria Sasso, her daughter-in-law Dorothy Harding and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Norman B. Harding, Jr. and her brothers Patrick Magrogan and Albert Magrogan.
A funeral service for Josephine will be held at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at 12:00. A visitation will take place one hour prior to the funeral service at 11:00. Burial will follow at Unity Washington Cemetery in Hurlock.
