Joseph "Joe" Dorleans' Obituary
Joseph “Joe” Dorleans of Hurlock died at Dorchester General Hospital on Thursday, September 29, 2011. He was 64.
He was born in Leagane, Haiti on August 23, 1947 the son of Leney Dorleans of Norwalk, CT and the late Elida Setoute.
He had retired from Allen Family Foods in Hurlock.
He is survived by his wife Leona Lake Dorleans and four children, Guernald Dorleans, and Kellio Dorleans both of Federalsburg, Lynda Dorleans of Hurlock, Andrise Dorleans, Denise Dorleans, Sandy Dorleans and Beatrice Dorleans all of Haiti a step-daughter, LaKiea Jackson of Federalsburg, 15 grandchildren, 4 syblings, Marice Dorleans and Montiny Dorleans of Norwalk, CT, Majda Dorleans of New Jersey and Yves Dorleans of NY, NY.
Funeral services for him will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Full Gospel Church of God in Christ located at 204 Academy Street in Hurlock, MD with Rev. Charles Cephas officiating. Interment will follow in Federal Hill Cemetery in Federalsburg. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from noon to 2:00 p.m..
