Joshua E. Haddaway's Obituary
Joshua E. Haddaway Joshua Edward Haddaway died at his home on Tuesday, May 27, 2014. He was 30. Born in Easton, MD., on June 9, 1983, he was the son of Sherry and Doug Spurry of St. Michaels, and the late Charles “Bucky†Murphy. After attending Talbot Co. Public Schools, Josh began a career as a waterman. He truly loved the outdoors in every sense, fishing, crabbing, and hunting. Whatever he could outdoors is what made him happiest, as well as spending time with his family. Josh is survived by his parents, Doug and Sherry Spurry, of St. Michaels; a brother, Shawn Spurry (Kim); a sister, Crystal Cooper (Steve); his aunts and uncles; Tommy and Mary Haddaway, Dixie Caulk, Chris and Bev Spurry, Lew and Christie Spurry, Steve and Debbie Spurry, Kathy and Matt Eglseder. Also survived by numerous cousins and a dear friend, Billie Anne Livingston. Josh was preceded in death by his father Bucky Murphy; maternal grandparents, Edward and Frances “Toots" Haddaway; paternal grandparents Frank and Reva Spurry, and a beloved sister Courtney Spurry. Funeral services will be held at the Tilghman United Methodist Church, on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 2:00PM. There will be a viewing at the church on Saturday, one hour before the service. Burial will be in Olivet Cemetery, St. Michaels. Serving as pallbearers will be T. Haddaway, Lew Spurry, Chuck Caulk, B.G. Kinnamon, Keith Kinnamon and Brian Sadler. Memorial donations may be made to the Tilghman United Methodist Church P.O. Box 108 Tilghman, MD. 21671. Arrangements are by the Ostrowski Funeral Home, St. Michaels, MD.
