Joyce Ann Rexach's Obituary
Joyce Ann Rexach passed from this earth to her heavenly home on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Christiana Medical Center. She was 67.
She was born on November 9, 1951 in Cambridge, Maryland the daughter of the late Jessie James "Peanut" Dobson and Lorraine Ethel Frazier Adams.
Joyce attended Maces Lane High School and then started her career as a nursing home assistant. She had worked at Eliza White's Nursing Home in Willamsburg. Joyce was always full of fun and laughter and enjoyed eating with her precious family. She loved God and loved her family dearly.
Joyce grew up at Farmers Memorial Church of God in Christ in Jonestown and was a member of Flame of Fire Holy Ghost Ministries in Georgetown.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Carlos Rexach Garcia, two daughters, Elsie Spruill and her husband Michael of Hurlock, Nicole Frazier of Ellendale, six grandchildren, Patrice Newbill, India Frazier, Jermaine Newbill, Ronika Frazier, Willie Elder, III, Devonna Fletcher, 11 great-grandchildren, her siblings, Frank Driggins (Joann) of Denton, Elizabeth Robinson (Lennie) of Grasonville, Lisa Batson (David) of Preston, Faye Smith of Federalsburg, Helen Smith and Ellen Brown, Ida Lake (Percy) all of Hurlock, Terris Elvey of Cambridge, Anthony Wright and Donny Crosby both of Cambridge, Kevin Smith and Jessie Smith (Ann) all of Hurlock, and a host of nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Clifford Smith and Gerald Aldridge.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 12 noon at Flames of Fire Holy Ghost Ministries, 18246 Mccolleys Chapel Road, Georgetown, DE with Bishop Frank Roach officiating and Evangelist Tanya Roach presiding over the service. A visitation will be held from 11 a.m.- 12 noon on Saturday. Funeral services are entrusted to Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg.
