Joyce Cleona Towers' Obituary
Joyce Cleona Williams Towers of Seaford, DE passed away on May 4, 2025 peacefully in her sleep with family by her side at Tidal Health Nanticoke Hospital.
She was born September 5, 1936 in Cambridge, Maryland and was the daughter of the late Randle Williams and Helen Brinsfield Williams.
She and her husband, Leon Towers were self-employed. They owned and operated Towers Communication and developed Towers Plaza in Seaford. Joyce loved country music and played keyboards and and sang in several bands. She ran sound for her husband's band Country Classics. Joyce loved preparing large family dinners and was still baking a week before her death. Joyce received an Associates Degree from Delaware Tech in the medical field.
Joyce is survived by her three sons: Charlie Towers and his wife Debbie, Dennis Towers and Randy Towers and his wife Phyllis; her grandchildren Leigh-Anne Partusch-Shrieves, Sherry Towers, Kim Towers, Kristen Allison-Dzwonek, Emily Smith, Jimi Kellogg, Jason Kellogg, Julia Adamski and Tommy Adamski; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, a sister Jane Dukes and her husband Larry, a brother Steve Williams and his wife Georgia, and sister-in-law Jean Williams.
Preceded in death by her husband Leon Towers, her parents Randle and Helen Williams, her brothers Kenny Williams and Donnie Williams, and granddaughter Maureen Allison.
Funeral services for Joyce will be held at 10 am on Saturday, May 10 at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg. The family will receive friends from 9:00 to 10:00. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Cemetery will follow the service. Friends are welcome to join us at the Moose Lodge, 22759 Bridgeville Highway in Seaford for fellowship and to share memories of Joyce.
