Joyce J. Nichols' Obituary
Joyce J. Nichols of Federalsburg died at Easton Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, January 13, 2010. She was 75.
She was born in Baltimore, MD on October 2, 1934 the daughter of the late Joseph and Leona Gibson Haddaway.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Paul L. Nichols whom she married on Sept. 21, 1949 and a son, Michael K. Nichols and two daughters, Pamela N. Bennett {Frankie} and Wanda Nichols Hallowell, all of Federalsburg and five grandchildren, Heather N. Williamson, Melissa L. Smith, Chad A. Bennett, Sarah A. Nichols and Triston L. Nichols, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Two sons, Paul L. Nichols, Jr. and Jeffrey L. Nichols and three brothers and 2 sisters preceded her in death.
Memorial services for her will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Framptom Funeral Home, P. A. in Federalsburg with Rev. Denzil Cheek officiating.
The family has requested that donations be made in her memory to Caroline Hospice Foundation P. O. Box 362 Denton, MD 21629.
